Maureen Doran, B.A., M.S., Histological Technologist, HTL (ASCP) - Maureen Doran worked at SIUC School of Medicine as the Director of the Histology Center for 32 years. She has presented numerous continuing education workshops, lectures, and teleconferences for NSH, ASCP, and the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She is past President of the Illinois Society for Histotechnologists and is an active member of the National Society for Histotechnology, serving for many years as the Chair of the Health & Safety Committee. She received the SIU award for Civil Service employee of the year and SIUC Outstanding Civil Service Teaching Support Award. She received the Distinguished Service award and Histotechnologist of the year award from the Illinois Society for Histotechnologists and was the recipient of the J.B. McCormick award and Technologist of the year by NSH.

Dawn Grisley, B.S., M.S. Ed., RT(R), ARDMS - Dawn Grisley has worked as a registered radiographer and diagnostic medical sonographer. Ms. Grisley has most recently earned an Anatomy Certificate and completed a Master's program in Molecular, Cellular, and Systemic Physiology. She has given multiple continuing education workshops at state and national histotechnology conferences. She is a member of the Illinois Society for Histotechnology and the National Society for Histotechnology, and has received the Illinois Society for Histotechnology Student of the Year award. Ms. Grisley is HTL registry eligible.
